13 Weeks

Had an OB check up today. Baby Girl was sucking her thumb. Her heartbeat is strong and she is growing! I couldn't feel more blessed and thankful that everything is going well so far.

Due Date: Dr. Shaban is leaving my due date in January instead of moving it to Dec. Bummer :(

How far along? 13 weeks 2 days

Whats baby up to? Tiny bones are beginning to form in her arms and legs. The intestines are beginning to move from the umbilical cord to the abdomen. The vocal cords are well under construction. 

Baby is the size of a: Peach

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 3 pounds

The Bump: Questionable. Looks like I just had to much to eat for dinner.

Symptoms: Headaches. Bloating. Sore and enlarged Breasts. Heartburn. Dizziness

Food Cravings: Fruit, Bread, Crackers/Chips and Deli Meat

Stretch Marks? No

Belly Button In or Out? In

Anything making me queasy or sick? Strong smells

Sleep: Getting up to pee once and sometimes twice already. 

What I miss: Clear Skin

Wedding ring on or off? On

Any names picked out yet? Yes

Gender: GIRL.. 100% Dr. Shaban confirmed today!

Movement? No

Maternity Clothes? No

Labor Signs? No

Best Moment of the week? Getting some sun at the pool.

What I'm excited about or looking forward to? Feeling her move.

13 Week Bump!

12 Weeks

Today, I had my NT ultrasound. It was at the Forest office with just the ultrasound tech. I knew that it was going to be a longer appointment so I got a babysitter for Tanner so that I could just enjoy seeing our little miracle baby. 

One of the first things that she asked me was "If I can see the sex of the baby, do you want to know?" I of course said Yes. Over the course of the appointment we got cute little shots of the baby.

Then last but not least we got a little glimpse between the legs. 

She was 90% sure it was a girl! I was totally thrilled!

Due Date: December 28th, 2012
How far along? 12 weeks 6 days ** Baby is measuring ahead of schedule by 5 days

Whats baby up to? Refluxes are starting to work. Fingerprints have formed.

Baby is the size of a: Lime

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 3 pounds

The Bump: Questionable. Looks like I just had to much to eat for dinner.

Symptoms: Throwing up has stopped and the nausea is controlled by a wonderful medication called Zofran. Feeling VERY tired. Headaches had kicked in full force. Breaking out.

Food Cravings: Fruit

Stretch Marks? No

Belly Button In or Out? In

Anything making me queasy or sick? Strong smells

Sleep: Going pretty good. Getting up to pee in the middle of the night already... REALLY!!

What I miss: Clear Skin

10 week bump!

9 Weeks

It is still so hard to me to believe that I'm pregnant. At every appointment Dr. Shaban asks if the shock has worn off yet and at every appointment I tell him that I don't think it ever will. 

How far along? 9 weeks 2 days
Whats baby up to? Starting to look more and more human. Baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form. Tiny teeth are forming too. Baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. Eyes are full formed.
Baby is the size of a: Grape
Total Weight Gain/Loss:
The Bump: Thickening around waist.
Symptoms: VERY nauseous. Throwing up is awful.
Food Cravings: Absolutely no appetite.

Belly Button In or Out? In
Anything making me queasy or sick? Everything
Sleep: I'm so exhausted from feeling awful all day that sleep is actually going ok.
What I miss: Food
Wedding ring on or off? On
Any names picked out yet? Boys names have been hard but we still like the same girls names as we had picked out with our first pregnancy.
Gender: Predicting a Girl.
Movement? No

Labor Signs? No
Best Moment of the week? When I got through an entire day without throwing up.
What I'm excited about or looking forward to? Being out of the 1st trimester and feeling so much better
